About us

Established in 1999, Group 35 Foods started small, but dreamed big. Over time, we grew from a modest venture into a national leader in the food industry, setting high standards for quality and innovation.

Our story began in 2003 when Swartland farmers sought better ways to use their wheat harvest. They invested in the Oude Tol Mill, a small stone mill. In 2005, a larger mill in Riebeek West boosted our flour production, and demand soared. From 10 employees, and being one of the larger independent wheat producers in the country.

In 2010, we became Group 35 Foods, embracing the slogan “Small Bigger Best Foods.” This change aimed to offer more food options and ensure top-notch service and quality. Our motto reflects our journey: starting small, growing bigger, and always striving for the best.
